He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Garza and Cleotilde Longoria; his son Samuel Garza Jr.; his father-in-law Manuel Rodriguez Sr.; and his siblings-in-law, Manuel Rodriguez Jr. and Ninfa Bazan.
He is survived by: his significant other Maria Rafaela Garza; his daughter Jennifer Garza; and his siblings, Ramon Garza (Beatriz), Dalinda Zachery, Raul Garza (Estela), Felipe Garza (Alma), Sylvia Hernandez (Joe), Viola Trevino (Juan Pablo), Alva Davis (Jerry), Pam Mercado and Jerry Garza (Noemi).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lord and I Funeral Home - Peñitas (1005 E Expressway 83, Penitas, TX 78576). A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church (916 S Leo Ave, La Joya, TX 78560). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lord & I Cemetery- Palmview Tx (1203 E Goodwin Rd, Palmview, TX 78572).
