It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rubi Montelongo of Penitas, Texas, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Rubi may no longer walk among us, their spirit lives on in the echoes of their kindness, the warmth of their embrace, and the light of their enduring love.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lord and I Funeral Home - Peñitas (1005 E Expressway 83, Penitas, TX 78576). A rosary will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lord & I Cemetery- Palmview Tx (1203 E Goodwin Rd, Palmview, TX 78572).
