He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Ruiz and Carmen Aguilar. He is survived by: his wife Maria Guadalupe Ruiz; his children, Pablo, Ruiz Jr. (Gloria), Javier Ruiz (Maria Antonia), Juan Ruiz (Dalila), Joel Ruiz, Jorge Ruiz (Michelle) and Belinda R. Wallace (Edward John); and his siblings, Pedro Ruiz, Juan Ruiz, Dionicio Ruiz, Jose Ruiz Jr., Francisca Garces and Juanita Reyes. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
