He was predeceased by: his father David Alaniz; and his sons, Michael Alaniz Jr. and Dylan Michael Alaniz. He is survived by: his mother Catalina Lopez Alaniz; his wife Claudia Alaniz; his children, John Clemente and Aaliyah Alaniz; and his siblings, David Alaniz Jr., Elizabeth Alaniz Garza and Yolanda Alaniz.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lord and I Funeral Home - Peñitas (1005 E Expressway 83, Penitas, TX 78576). A rosary was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church (916 S Leo Ave, La Joya, TX 78560). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Havana City Cemetery.
