Though Maria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Garza and Estefana Perez; and her husband Valente Alaniz Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Sara Emma Garza, Delfina A. Alaniz (Ernesto Garza), Valente Alaniz Jr. (Eva), Rolando Alaniz (Delia) and Sandra A. Villarreal. She is also survived by her 20 Grandchildren and 49 Great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lord and I Funeral Home - Peñitas (1005 E Expressway 83, Penitas, TX 78576). A rosary was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Havana Cemetery.
