He is survived by: his sons, Nicholas James Garza and Jacob Isaiah Garza; his fiancée Janie Silva; his father Jose Arturo Garza Jr. (Gloria); his siblings, Analicia Zarate (George), Alfredo Garza (Yvette), Julie Ann Torres (Alex) and Adrian Garza; his grandmothers, Adela A. Garza and Ana Flores; and his aunts and uncles, Javier Garza (Zaida), Cynthia Casanova (Isidro Sr.), Esmeralda Fernandez (Jaime), Mirza Bazan and Joel Flores.
