He is survived by: his wife Maria Luisa Martinez; his children, Karen Mottu (Miguel), Selene Mottu and Luz Maria Mottu; his grandchildren, Zuleyka, John, Yandel, Yaziel, Zeyla and Kaleb; and his siblings, Lesbia, Carmen and Miguel.

Due to the current climate surrounding COVID, visitors are asked to wear a facemask/covering.
