It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fernando Solis (Penitas, Texas), who passed away on April 3, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Maria Duberney, Maria E. Rios, Evita Garcia, Orlando Solis, Seferino Solis, Ramona Rios, Mario Solis, Martin Solis, Fernando Solis Jr., Bertha Rodriguez, Artemio Solis and Juan Manuel Solis; and his sisters, Angelica Alaniz, Marcela Alaniz and Maria Inez De Leon. He is also survived by his 36 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
