He is survived by: his wife Vicenta R. Montemayor; his children, Delia Curlin (Randall), David Montemayor Jr. (Monica), Julio Sosa (Carolin), Adalinda Cardenas (Alejandro), Margarito Sosa Jr. and Hector Javier Sosa; and his siblings, Antonia Montemayor Gomez, Josefa Montemayor Gomez, Juan Americo Montemayor Gomez (Lupita) and Sergio Montemayor Gomez (Viviana).
