He is survived by: his parents, Benigno Sr and Rebecca Cerda; his son Jesus Cerda; his son-in-law Brinkley Oxford; his siblings, Esperanza Pena, Josefina Rivera and Juaquin Cerda; his wife Maria Minerva Cerda; his children, Javier Cerda (Nora), Sylvia Oxford, Veronica Reyes (Fernando), Willie Cerda (Blanca), Juan Cerda (Sandra), Reynaldo Cerda, Maria Inez Brashear (Kevin), Nellie Betancourt (Mario), Rebecca LeBlanc (Dane), Ricardo Cerda, Michael Cerda (Alma), Jose A. Cerda and David Cerda; and his siblings, Francisco Cerda (Irma), Raquel Garcia (Hector) and Lucia Longoria. He is also survived by his 33 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
