She was predeceased by: her husband José Ismael "Melo" Ochoa; and her brother Jorge Alberto Chávez. She is survived by: her children, Verónica Ochoa, Velma P. Ochoa and Belinda Ochoa; her grandchildren, Romeo Ismael Gutiérrez, Viviana Raquel López (Placido), Victoria Ross Flores, Ramiro Damián Flores, Luis Carlos Venegas (Rebecca) and Abigael Vianay Venegas; and her great grandchildren, Román Oziel López, José Ismael López and Valentina Rose López.
