He was predeceased by: his mother Maria Flores; his wife Juana Manuela Flores; his father Julio Flores Hernandez; his daughter Nora Alicia Flores; and also Maria Teresa Gonzalez Flores.
He is survived by: his children, Abel Flores Jr. (Denica), Patricia Flores, Julio Flores and Jorge Luis Flores; and his siblings, Raquel Flores Rodriguez, Esequiel Flores Gonzalez, Emilio Flores Gonzalez, Julio Flores Gonzalez, Pedro Flores Gonzalez, Gerardo Flores Gonzalez and Maria Teresa Muñiz Flores. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
