With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Horger Matthews of Peggy, Texas, who passed away on August 5, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Harroll Matthews and Irene Horger; his stepfather Louis Davis; his uncle Herbert Matthews; and his aunt Katie Matthews.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Matthews; and his daughter Megan Matthews. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
