He was predeceased by: his sisters, Virginia Ann Penna and Angela Montalbano; and his nephew Larry Penna. He is survived by: his wife Peggy C. Maggio; his son Brian Vaclavik; his granddaughters, Camille and Heather Vaclavik; his nieces and nephews, David Penna, Steven Penna, Paul Penna (Cindy), Anthony Montalbano (Gloria), Mary Lynn Leigh (Chris) and Rosalie Brandino Aquilina (Anthony); and his cousins, Charles Giammalva (Sue) and Marianne Giammalva.
