He was predeceased by: his parents, Jodie Daniel and Pauline Estelle Hobbs (Davis); his son Steven Ray Hobbs; and his siblings, Bill and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his sons, David Hobbs (Christine) and Eric Hobbs; his grandchildren, Justin Hobbs, Hollie Fincher (David) and Colton Hobbs; his great grandchild Raylee Fincher; his sister Peggy McClain (Joe); and his close friend Miya Brown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
