It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Boening of Peggy, Texas, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Clarence Boening to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid adieu to Clarence's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Clarence has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Boening and Leona Tieken Boening; and his brother Harold Boening (Carol). He is survived by: his children, Debra Vasquez (Rick), Sherry Herring (Scott), Sandra Broadway (Craig Woolly) and Cecil Boening (Kristi); and his brother Roger Boening (Shirley). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel (115 S Esplanade St, Karnes City, TX 78118). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Fashing Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in remembrance of Pete Boening to one of the following: the Parkinson's Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the American Cancer Society.
