He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dean and Catherine Edwards; his wife Peggy Murphy Edwards; his nephew Garland Murphy; his brother-in-law Homer Latta; and his nephew Martin Dean Latta.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna Edwards McKethan (Mark) of Waco; his granddaughters, Amanda McKethan of Waco and Alicia McKethan Danforth (A. J.); his great grandchildren, Lillian, Madeline, Imogen and Samuel Dean of McKinney; his sister Nell Edwards Latta; his niece Sharon Brown Murphy; and also Garland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
