He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Clayton and Jewell Clayton; his sisters, Murl and May; and his grandsons, Russell Epperson and Austin Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Bristow Clayton; his daughters, Rhonda Epperson (Ron), Donna Daniel (Ron) and Trish Holt (Chip); his grandsons, Lance Epperson (Brandy) and Clay Epperson (Tori); and his great grandchildren, Lane Epperson, Jackson Epperson, Logan Epperson, Lilly Epperson, Corley Epperson, Greg Wyatt, Sandy Wyatt and Ronny Lawrence. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
