She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Wilcken Pratt and Vilo Williams; her husband Gurcharan Singh Gill; her sisters, Amy Christensen, Ann Stevenson and Florence Ashby; and her children, Vilo Westwood (David), Sheila Hadden (Barney), Susan Debaene-Gill (Jan), Paul Gill (Ikumi), Janice Bunker (Stephen), Stephen Gill (Jennifer) and David Gill (Sunitha). She was also cherished by 31 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Vilo Gill requested donations to local food pantries.
