Petra Gutierrez Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Petra Gutierrez of Pecos, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Petra may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Petra touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Gomez and Elisa Gomez. She is survived by: her children, Nova Herrera, Mickie Jaso, Melissa Gutierrez Granado (Arturo), Hector Gutierrez (Leticia) and Eddie Gutierrez (Ana); and her sisters, Luisa Matta and Naya Dominguez. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pecos Funeral Home (607 W 3rd St, Pecos, TX 79772).
