She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Ybarra and Dominga V. Ybarra; her brothers, Pete Ybarra, Luis V. Ybarra Sr., Chris Ybarra and Ronnie Ybarra; and her son Steve Matta.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Orona; and her brothers, Joe Ybarra, Robert Ybarra and Nacho Ybarra. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Pecos Funeral Home (607 W 3rd St, Pecos, TX 79772). A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Catherine Catholic Church (1201 S Plum St, Pecos, TX 79772). A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1910 Wyoming St, Pecos, TX 79772).
