We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2023, at the age of 82, Mary Lou Carrasco (Pecos, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Luis Carrasco; her parents, Eusebia Urquidez and Julian Urquidez; and her brothers, Joe Urquidez and Albert Urquidez.

She is survived by: her children, Luis Carrasco, Albert Carrasco, Crissy Martinez and Mayna Benavides; her grandchildren, Alex Morales, Christopher Martinez, Matthew Martinez, Victoria Carrasco and Zachary Carrasco; her children, Maya Carrasco and Alyna Carrasco; her great grandchildren, Bella Morales, Kinslee Morales, Acacia Carrasco and Eleanor Carrillo; and her siblings, Lisa Franco, Armando Urquidez, Violet Urquidez and Susan Urquidez.

Later, as superintendent at Balmorhea Independent School District, Mary Lou Carrasco continued to make significant contributions to the educational community.
