She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Francisco Herrera and Francisca Herrera; her brother Manuel Herrera; her husband Felix Rivas of Moody, Texas.; her son Jaime Acosta (Kristi Lara Acosta); and her sister Irma Martinez (Clyde). She was also cherished by 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
