He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gilberto, Guadalupe Barragan, Jose and Aurora Reyes; and his stepmother Anita Barragan.
He is survived by: his parents, Fabio Barragan and Aurora Tarango (Jesus); his wife Marlene Tlaxcala; his sons, Fabio Barragan III and Matthew Lane Barragan; his siblings, Michael Barragan (Marlene) of Pecos and Lupita Lara (Chris) of Bastrop; and his nieces and nephews, Amaris, Kaydence, Jayleen, Mason, Bryson, Caiden and Kaleb. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Pecos Funeral Home (607 W 3rd St, Pecos, TX 79772). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church (620 E 4th St, Pecos, TX 79772).
