With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esteban Barrera Sr. of Pecos, Texas, who passed away on June 1, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fransico Barrera (Patronila Acosta Barrera) and Patronila Barrera (Virginia Barrera); his daughter Nancy Sanchez; and his siblings, Benancio Barrera, Ramona Benavides, Cuca Escobedo and Maria Gomez (Albert Barrera).
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Barraza Barrera; and his children, Esteban Barrera Jr. (Irma) of Pecos, Mark Barrera, Veronica Garcia (Jimmy), Isabell Barrera (Jesse Nunez) of Odessa and Mario Barrera (Jenny) of El Paso. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
