It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Herod of Pecos, Texas, who passed away on September 5, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Herod; her parents, Daniel Sr. Haynes and Tennie Haynes (Graves); and her siblings, Daniel, Alton, Harry, James Haynes, Verna McCanick, Molden Keeton and Bennie Bailey.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce (Donald White), Bobby (Sylvia Herod), Donny Herod (Kathie) of Austin, TX and Levi Randolph of Pflugerville, TX; her grandchildren, Derick White of Allen, TX, Nicole White of El Paso, TX, Benisha Coleman of Lakewood, WA and Crystal Rountree of Charlotte, NC; and her great grandchildren, Alajah, Alex, Alyse Coleman, Kennedy White and Kingston Rountree. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID19 limitations, masks are required in the funeral home, and only 40 members of the immediate family will be allowed for viewing and funeral services, if you plan to attend the graveside services, please plan to wear a mask and keep social distance of 6 feet.
