We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2024, at the age of 24, Demecio Vejil IV in Pecos, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Demecio leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by : his grandparents, David and Gilda Vejil. He is survived by : his parents, Anna L. Gongora and Demecio Vejil III; his stepfather Jason Fritz; his siblings, Vanessa Buckler, Amanda Vejil and Mason Fritz; and his grandmother Juanita Gongora. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

A rosary was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peaceful Garden Funeral Home (116 W 4th St, Pecos, TX 79772). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Saint Catherine Catholic Church (1201 S Plum St, Pecos, TX 79772).
