We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2020, at the age of 88, Blasa Lara of Pecos, Texas, born in Stanton, Texas passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Lara and Florencia Lara (Rayos); her son Danny L Ortega; and her siblings, Mercy Lara, Jesus Lara, Manuel Lara and Alice Carrasco.

She is survived by: her children, Jesse "Keto" Silvas (Becky), Cecilia Varela (Ray) and Melissa Lara; and her siblings, Mary Gutierrez (Nena), Ramona Ybarra (Pete), Mary Olgin (Joe) and Antonio Lara Jr. (Tony). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Due to the COVID19 Pandemic Outbreak, all services are limited to the immediate family up to 40 persons.
