She was predeceased by: her husband Ismael C Mata; her parent Gregoria Muñiz Garcia; and her grandparents, Teófilo and Jesus Garcia. She is survived by: her children, Lucia Aguilar, Sarah Ramirez and Felipe Mata; her brother Abel Pallanes (Elsa Pallanes); and her grandchildren, Hector Aguilar, Georgina Ramirez, Alexandra Garcia, Cynthia Ramirez, Destiny Aguilar, Andres Mendoza, Zachariah Mata and Ariel Mata. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Pecos Funeral Home (607 W 3rd St, Pecos, TX 79772). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church (620 E 4th St, Pecos, TX 79772).
