He was predeceased by: his parents, Trifon Rodriguez Sr. and Dionicia Hinojosa Rodriguez; his daughters, Dolores "Loli" Rodriguez and Estrella Trujillo; and his siblings, Guadalupe Barro, Teresa Hernandez, Dionicia Ramirez and Rodrigo Rodriguez.
He is survived by: his children, Guadalupe Mendoza (Victor) of Pearsall, Victoria Frausto (Roger) of Pearsall, Trifon Rodriguez III of Pearsall, Maribel Gonzales (Pete) of Uvalde and Vida Martinez (Joseph) of Dilley; his stepdaughter Cynthia Morales; and his siblings, Marisa Cavasos, Eloisa Ramirez and Domingo Rodriguez. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
