He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Elizondo and Delfina Garcia Elizondo; his former wife Ernestina Pena Elizondo; his brothers, Elias Elizondo, Jesus Elizondo and Jose Elizondo; and his great great grandchild Cataleia Escobar.
He is survived by: his wife Adriana Vinton Elizondo; his children, Dolores Ortiz (Larry), Grace Guedea (Tomas), Jose Elizondo (Gloria), Timoteo Elizondo "Tim" (Annabel), John Paul Elizondo (Lori) and Kassie Arrellano (Francisco); and his siblings, Julia Medrano, Apolona Briseno, Maria Cuevas, Benito Elizondo, Emelia Ramirez and Juan Elizondo. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
