He was predeceased by: his parents, Teodoro Gandara Sr. and Guadalupe Gandara; his brothers, Gamaliel, Alfredo and Manuel Gandara; and his mother-in-law Dora Marquez.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Gandara; his sons, Teodoro Gandara III and Jeremy Gandara; his siblings, Enrique Gandara, Cruzita Morales (Mike), Diana Garcia, Robert Gandara and Anabelle Lozano (Mario); his sister-in-law Ninfa Gandara; and his pet Benji. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
