He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Garcia and Ramona De Anda Garcia; his former wife Lucia Garcia; his son Tony Garcia; his great grandchild Nathan Dyer; and his siblings, Mario Deanda, Lilia Garcia and Teresa Vasquez Hernandez.

He is survived by: his wife Timotea Vinton Garcia; and his children, Maggie Montemayor of Pearsall, Rebecca Collinsworth (Paul) of Garland, Peter Garcia (Theresa) of Garland, Paul Garcia (Norma), Janie Garcia (Joe) of San Marcus, Frank Garcia (Yvonne) of Irving and Teresa Rivas (Eliel) of Pearsall. He is also survived by numerous stepchildren, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
