He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francisco Garcia and Lucinda "Chinda" Garcia of Pearsall; his aunt Maria R. Garcia of Pearsall; his daughters, Sandy Garcia Martinez (George Salinas Jr.) of Pearsall, Cindy Ann Garcia (Luis O. Martinez) of San Antonio and Rani Garcia Martinez (Oscar R. Martinez) of Pearsall; and his sisters, Delia Gonzales (Luis Gonzales Sr.) of Pearsall and Rosario Yanez (Jesus Yanez Sr.) of Bryan. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren.
