He was predeceased by: his sibling Tere Pruitt Rolando Bernal; and his great grandchildren, Cayden Cruz and Ceyanna Cruz. He is survived by: his children, Patrick Bernal III and Elsa Cruz (Eddie); his grandchildren, Aaron Bernal (Marissa), Chris Cruz and Christian Cruz (Mia); his great grandchildren, Aliana, Asher, Meaghan, Jaclynn, Emaleigh, Annabelle, Nicholas, Cameron, Cayson and Cannon; and his siblings, Elida Carrizales, Isaura Sanchez, Odelia Villarreal, Rosario Reyna, Victor Bernal and Lupe Lezak. He is also survived by dad and grandfather who loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels (203 E Frio St, Pearsall, TX 78061). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (422 W Brazos St, Pearsall, TX 78061).
