It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luis Nieto (Pearsall, Texas), who passed away on February 22, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Lopez Nieto and Julia DeLaCruz Nieto; his daughter Rosario Nieto; and his brothers, Pedro Nieto, Juan Nieto and Torivio Nieto.
He is survived by: his wife Josefina Lafuente Nieto of Pearsall; his children, Hector L. Nieto (Estella) of McAllen, Angie N. Siller (Mario) of Pearsall, Josefina N. Harlan of Maryland, Jose Luis Nieto of Pearsall, Robert L. Nieto (Mechelle) of Devine, Armando L. Nieto (Ana) of New Braunfels, Alfonso L. Nieto (Victoria) of California, Roland L. Nieto (Annette) of Pearsall, Arnold L. Nieto of California, Paul L. Nieto (Rachel) of Temple and Julia N. Urrutia (Paul) of Martindale; and his brother Pete Nieto (Nachie) of Pearsall. He is also survived by 36 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren.
