He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Reyes and Olivia Gonzales Reyes; his son Jorge Reyes; and his siblings, Ruben Reyes Jr., Mauricio "Wicho" Reyes and Eva Perez.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Benavides Reyes; his children, Juventino Reyes Jr. (Ida) of San Antonio and Libbie Reyes (Rene) of Pearsall; and his sister Yolanda Ayala. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
