He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Villarreal and Maria Villarreal (Rios); his spouse Juanita Padilla Villarreal; his children, Luis Villarreal, Eleazar Villarreal and Elvira Villarreal; and his siblings, Jesus Villarreal Jr., Jorge Villarreal, Maria Martinez, Petra Saldana, Teresa Saldana and Roberta Garza.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Villarreal (Petra) of Batesville, Mikie Villarreal of Minnesota, Jose "Pin" Villarreal, Jr. (Yolanda, Hector Villarreal) of Batesville, Eloisa Garza of Batesville, Dora Elia Delgado of Batesville, Beatrice "Guera" Villarreal of Batesville, Oralia "Lally" Villarreal (Jesse Martinez) of Batesville, Diana Rios of Batesville and Joey Daniel Rios Villarreal of Batesville; his sister Margarita Saldana of Batesville; and his daughter-in-law Tina Villarreal of Batesville. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
