He is survived by: his wife Cruz Viesca Amaya of Pearsall; his children, Jason Anthony Amaya (Loretta) of Lytle, Janice Amaya Robledo, Christopher Lee Esparza of Pearsall and Annaliza Amaya Arrellano; his sisters, Jose Amaya Jr. (Rachel) of Pearsall, Diana Villalobos (Juan) of Pearsall, Olga Vidaurri of Buda, Frances Amaya of Pearsall, David Amaya (Sylvia) of Pearsall, Janie Gonzales (Joshua) of Pearsall, Rosario Campos (Juan) of San Antonio and Joseph Amaya of Bakersfield; and his grandchildren, Ivan Amaya, Orlando Amaya, Jeremiah Amaya, Samuel Robledo, Mariska Robledo, Virginia Nieto, Kristi Esparza and Ethan Arellano. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
