He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Gutierrez and Petra Esquivel; his wife Josie Gutierrez; and his siblings, Crispin Vejara, Maria Anderson, Bonofacio Gutierrez, Eusebia Aguirre and Felipa Nino.
He is survived by: his sons, James Gutierrez of Pearsall and Paul Skees of Pearsall; his siblings, Viviana Flores, Juan Gutierrez, Paul Gutierrez, Angel Gutierrez, Anita Esparza and Lupe Hernandez; and his grandson James Gutierrez Jr..
Interment will follow at the Frio County Cemetery. *Due to COVID-19 we are asking everyone to continue to follow CDC guidelines as well as local mandates.
