He is survived by: his wife Dominga Rios Carrizales; his children, Susana Carrizales Garcia (Apolinar), Ysabel C. Vinton (Rene) and Paul R. Carrizales Jr. (Christina); and his brother Andres Carrizales Jr.. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
