With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delia L. Zapata (Pearsall, Texas), born in Devine, Texas, who passed away on October 19, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Secundino Lopez and Maria "Matus" Espinosa Lopez. She is survived by: her husband Andrew "Butch" Zapata of Big Foot; her children, Laura Ann Zapata of Natalia, Juanita Zapata of Natalia and Andrew Zapata Jr. (Dawn) of Devine; her siblings, Rosa Covarrubia of San Antonio, Frank Lopez of Devine, Richard Lopez of Devine, Felipe Lopez of Ballinger and Salina Ochoa of Ballinger; and her grandchildren, Jordan Ashley Zapata, Andrew Quentin Zapata and Aiden Charles Zapata. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 we are asking everyone to continue to follow CDC guidelines as well as local mandates. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory.
