He is survived by: his parent Asencion Sr.; his wife Maria Gutierrez of Pearsall; his children, Joel Gutierrez, Benito Gutierrez Jr. and Diana Espinosa of Kerrville; his siblings, Alberto Gutierrez of Pearsall, Asencion Gutierrez Jr. of Pearsall, Mingo Gutierrez of Pearsall, Linda Esquivel, Guadalupe Gutierrez, Victoria Camacho of Pearsall, Tacha Torres of San Antonio, Olga Laredo of McAllen, Alicia Perez and Gloria Gutierrez of Pearsall; and his grandchildren, Aleigha Gutierrez, Jeremiah Gutierrez, Josiah Mendez, Brian Espinosa, Lysett Espinosa, Marcus Gutierrez and Emma Gutierrez.
