Mendez; her sisters, Gracie Mungia of College Station, TX, Umbelina, Angie Lopez (Joe) of Premont, TX and Cora Jacobs (Allen) of Alice, TX.; her stepchildren, Emma Rincones (Juan), Wilfredo Vela, Jr. (Sylvia), George Vela (Rhonda) and Mario Vela (Ida); and her stepgrandchildren, Juan Rincones, Jr., Stephanie Rincones, Thomas Rincones, Erik, Crystal Vela, George Vela, Jr., Lauren Vela, Jacob Vela, Laisha Vela, Mario Vela, Jr., Christopher Hollingsworth and Morgan Hollingsworth.
