She was predeceased by: her husband James McPeak Sr.; her daughter Lori Lane; her grandsons, Kiran C. Kota, Justin Lane and Randal Lane; and her parents, Howard Edward Holstine and Juanita Thomas.
She is survived by: her partner Thomas J. Doherty; her children, Shelly R. McPeak, Carole Y. Kota, James McPeak Jr., Karen Gasque, Brenda Laskoskie and Tommy W. Doherty; and her sisters, Carole and Bonnie.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the South Park Funeral Home Willow Oaks Chapel (1310 N Main St, Pearland, TX 77581). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the South Park Cemetery (1310 N Main St, Pearland, TX 77581).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Veterans Organization in Shirley's memory.
