It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Chavez of Pearland, Texas, born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Sally's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Carrillo and Tomasa Carrillo; and her siblings, Consuelo Carrillo (Hopie), Virginia Morales, Frances Carrillo, Morris Carrillo, Jr. and John Carrillo.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Chavez; her daughter Carolyn Chavez Price (Bernard Price); her grandchildren, Joseph Price and Megan Price-Schluns (Kyle Schluns); and her brother Peter Carrillo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the South Park Chapel (1310 N Main St, Pearland, TX 77581). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
