He is survived by: his son David Roy Chaney; his daughter-in-law Tara Chaney; his daughter Laurel Diane Dewease; his son-in-law Glen Dewease; his grandchildren, Lance Ryan Locher, Trenton Chase Locher, Meghan Elise Chaney and Dalton Reid Chaney; and his siblings, Charlotte Saladino, Sandra Payne (Richard), Ernest Chaney (Anna) and Sidney Chaney (Jacque). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home (2800 N Travis Ave, Cameron, TX 76520).
