He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl Smith and Bertie Bedelia Florrow Smith; and his siblings, Donald Smith (Sue), Lola Smith Fonville (Orville) and Betty Smith Holcomb (Bill).
He is survived by: his son Brian Alan Smith (Melissa); his wife Anne Johnston Smith; his son Derek Smith (Frances); and his grandchildren, Aubrey, Elaine, Bennett, Aiden and Esther. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family friends and coworkers.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the South Park Cemetery (1310 N Main St, Pearland, TX 77581).
