He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Lozano and Porfiria Lozano; and his siblings, Arturo Lozano, Rafael Lozano and Rosa Elia Esparza.

He is survived by: his wife Laura Lozano; and his children, Richard (Hailey), Logan (Valerie) and Hannah (Evan). He is also survived by eight siblings, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
