It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Destin-Johnson of Pearland, Texas, who passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Destin, Sr. and Luetter Anderson Destin; her husband Jack Everett Johnson, Jr.; her grandparents, Leonard, Ealer Anderson, Prosper and Celestine Destin; and her siblings, Robert Clarence Destin, Sr., Arthur Destin, Jr., Paul Destin, Sr., Addie Pearl Destin, Ealer Johnson, Emma Jean Reed and Willie Davis.
She is survived by: her sons, Everett McKinley Johnson (Paulette) and Adrian Andre Johnson (Nicola); her sister Beatrice Williams of Tomball, Texas; her grandchildren, Ryan Johnson, Brittney Johnson, Christen Deslandes (Justin), Jeremiah Johnson, Kaitlyn Johnson and Ali Johnson; her great grandchildren, Samiyah Coleman, Josiah Walton, Kiyan Thomas, Skylar Deslandes, Scarlett Deslandes and Brayzon Earls; her sisters-in-law, Ethel Destin of Crosby, Texas, Willie B. Scott of Douglas, Texas, Lorene Curl of Dallas, Merrylyn Johnson of Dallas, Emma Wade Abney of Dallas, Laurah Johnson of Dallas, Kathryn Allen of Dallas, Linda Finnell of Dallas and Shirley Williams of Shalimar; and also Joe Johnson of Topeka, Kansas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates, church family and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM at the Jordan Grove Missionary Baptist Church (2603 Anita St, Houston, TX 77004). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at the Houston Memorial Gardens (2426 Cullen Blvd, Pearland, TX 77581).
